on changing the theme in Mac OS X Firefox borwser has gray button with white text, barely possible to be read. Safari browser on the other hand updates buttons properly with the theme

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Shapeshifter (or other) theme changer
2. Set theme to any dark gray or black theme, in my case - PhotoPro 1.5
3. launch Firefrox
Actual Results:  
buttons on web pages appear unreadable (e.g. google.com)

Expected Results:  
use the theme's buttons

Not a shell integration bug... likely HTML forms... moving over to themes for further triage

This was filed against Firefox 2, apparently; unless the problem persists in Firefox 3, this belongs in the (dead) Widget:Mac component.  And, given that it's apparently about buttons in content, for which Firefox 2 didn't support native theming anyway, it's probably best to just close this bug Incomplete.

Peter, if this problem persists in Firefox 3.0.10 or later and you can provide a simple testcase, please feel free to file a new bug.
