I couldn't find a related bug, but there might be.
From the report:
"
Sometimes you might want to mix text buttons with image buttons and insist on using the button tag. However, Firefox aligns the text buttons lower then the image buttons.
"
It seems like a valid bug to me.
The margin workaround he's talking about doesn't seem to work on trunk, but that might actually be an improvement.
