I hate to say this but firefox is getting bloated.
While we are fighting the good fight we often lose track of whats important.
My definition of firefox is to be fast.
All I want is the ability to disable every new feature that anyone adds.
I remember firefox 1.0 being extremely fast.
Firefox 1.5 was slower.
Firefox 2.0 was even slower.
Thank You.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Running firefox on a slow computer.
Actual Results:
Slow.
Expected Results:
Fast.
Please can you create a options bar that disables all the nifty new features.

This is I'm afraid too inspecific a bug to be able to make any progress with. If there is any specific issues that you have then please by all means file bugs on those separately. Just one large bug saying that firefox is slow is of no real use.
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Bug_writing_guidelines is always worth a read.

Sorry, I was trying to help.
Can you maybe turn this into a feature request for a future version of firefox?
I want to create an options bar where it can disable some of the new features.
Currently you can only do this with safe-mode.
