we got mozilla/mailnews/absync we got ns/mailnews/absyncmojo we got ns/mailnews/addrbook/resources/content/ABSynch*.* we got ns/mailnews/addrbook/resources/locale/en-US/ABSynch*.* we got stuff under ns/AIMGlue (see http://bugscape/show_bug.cgi?id=1020) we got to figure out what we want, and then organize it. I think [ns|mozilla]/mailnews/absync makes the most sense. I'm still not sure there is any ab synch stuff in the mozilla tree, since it is a netcenter thing, right? comments?
I like the xxx/mailnews/absync and have it all live in that directory. I don't want to sink it under the addrbook directory. Now, the absyncmojo was a directory that was supposed to be there for a temporary solution, but I have a feeling that it won't go away over time. - rhp
Why do you think absynch should be a top level mailnews component instead of inside the address book component? Do you think we would ever bundle our absynch component without the address book? I assumed the two were coupled together? (Not arguing..just wondering)
I guess I think this sync stuff is kind of a generic engine that could be used for more than one synchronization solution (i.e. synchronize with other client DB's other than ours.) It wouldn't take much to do that. - rhp
Hi guy, I'll throw this your way since I think you are going to be moving stuff into ns/mailnews/absync in that tree. Then, if we need to move stuff into ns from mozilla I will handle that. - rhp

not going to happen any time soon. I'll do this cleanup when we implement a realy ab sync UI.
