User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 There are TWO problems that started since I downloaded this version of Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 (20070728). I am using Mac OS 10.4.10. The first problem is that most of 98% of the time Thunderbird crashes after the first two messages download. The second issue is that when using the personal Address Book and I click on the card I do not get the contents of the card NOR if I am sending to the same message to multiple addresses can I change the TO or anything else from the address back without going to the message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Standard operating procedure Actual Results: Same results Expected Results: Thunderbird should not crash during e-mail transfer. I should be able to read an address card while constructing an e-mail as with past revisions and signify whether I want to use TO or BCC or etc. while again constructing an e-mail.
Please give the talkback crash id. <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback> Also, keep it one issue per bug.
And what did firefox have to do with this?
reporter writes : "I will not empty the trash files and attempt to reconstruct the problem." William, you do not mention trash in the original bug report, so I don't see how trash relates. Anyway, need a talkback id, a message which creates the crash. Please clarify and if you see this crash in the future please post a talkback id (comment 1). Or, you said this is highly reproducible - in which case if the problem went away after upgrading 2.0.0.6 to something higher then you could add a comment to that effect and change the resolution to WORKSFORME. => incomplete for now.
