Instead of having one article on importing data, we're going to have a separate article for each product. We need these done before the September 31 release.
I'd like a separate article for: - Internet Explorer - Safari - Opera - Netscape - SeaMonkey - Mozilla
Placeholders have been created: http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-index.php?page=Importing+from+Internet+Explorer http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-index.php?page=Importing+from+Safari http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-index.php?page=Importing+from+Opera http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-index.php?page=Importing+from+Netscape http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-index.php?page=Importing+from+SeaMonkey http://support-stage.mozilla.org/tiki-index.php?page=Importing+from+Mozilla+Application+Suite
What kind of info do you want on these pages? Doesn't File -> Import do everything we want?
Whatever is possible. At first walk them through the import wizard; then if there are any extra things that can be imported (manually or using a third party tool), add those as well.
if any one of the articles are ready for review, please say so in this bug
IE is ready for review. I thought I had updated the article tracking page, but I guess not.
I don't think we need to combine importing and moving data between computers. All the importing articles should just assume the user is intending to import data that is already on the computer Firefox is installed on.
OK, it's split off into its own article. The Opera one is also ready for review.
5 of the 6 articles are ready. We just need one for Netscape.
Any particular version of Netscape?
Always the latest.
Netscape is ready. Marking as FIXED.
