The last couple of days, MDC has suddenly been very sluggish and unresponsive at times. Then it will work fine for a few minutes, then slow way down again.

Do you have dates and times?

How about right now? It won't load anything at all right this moment. :)

It's literally every few minutes. It'll work great for a couple of minutes, then be slow for about 20 minutes, then suddenly speed up again for a few minutes. Been doing that for two days.

Hmm, right now it's super speedy for me.

It's almost like it's putting connection attempts on hold. As I'm working, I'll tend to open up a few pages at once. This is when it happens the most -- if I'm trying to load, say, two or four pages at a time. They all just hang there for up to 5 minutes before finally loading.

I've applied this patch to developer-stage. Please thump on it and see if it has the desired effect. :)

for me, it seems patch doesn't push adverse effects.. (like fetching some wrong title etc.)
about performance, i cannot comment about it b/c i don't know that before applying patch.
