Maybe you changed something in your character encoding?
You can find this out by renaming prefs.js in your profile or by creating a new profile.

Hello, could you tell what is your configured character encoding? You can find it in View --> Character Encoding (and also check the status of View --> Character Encoding --> Auto-Detect)

---

Is there a specific web site this happens on or does it affect every site? If it's just certain sites it's most likely their fault for not specifying the encoding properly.
