Currently on the trunk the default plugin is called Netscape Navigator Default Plug in. Any way we can change it to a different name that doesn't include "Netscape?"
This was fixed in bug 50523, as far as I can tell, and on the trunk I see "Mozilla Default Plugin" in the addon manager (and I'm not alone, see e.g. bug 391707). Could it be that you have an old plugin that's been hanging around for a while?
confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007091904 Minefield/3.0a8pre

i see the Netscape Plugin also with a new profile
