Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007091714 Minefield/3.0a8pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007091714 Minefield/3.0a8pre If a user adds a toolbar and then hides it, it reappears on the new Firefox startup. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right-click the toolbar area of Firefox, and then click Customize... 2. Click on Add New Toolbar, and then enter a name. 3. Drag a button onto the new blank toolbar. 4. Click Done to Close the Customize Toolbars dialog. 5. Right-click on the toolbar area, then uncheck the newly-created toolbar to hide it. 6. Exit Firefox. 7. Restart Firefox. Actual Results: The toolbar you just unchecked is displayed. Expected Results: The toolbar you just unchecked stays unchecked, just like the Navigation and Bookmarks toolbars do. This happens only for user added toolbars, not toolbars added by extensions. For what it's worth, this didn't work in Firefox 2 either, but it is irritating to me because I can hide the Bookmarks toolbar and have Firefox remember it, and I'd like to be able to selectively hide another set of buttons as well.
