Not like the previous release, this release can NOT establish connection using VPN/proxy connectivity. No matter which option I selected and set up in Tools-Options-Advanced-Network-Settings, Firefos still can NOT get onto the internet. I had to switch to IE for my Internet surfing.

Please address this issue asap.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
          that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Like the last line in the error message points out, did you give your firewall permission for the updated Firefox version?
Normally you should see a firewall alert if something changes in the application.

ZoneAlarm usually pops up for any new software updates including FireFox but never again. I even reinstalled ZoneAlarm and went back to prev ver of FireFox...everything I tried. FireFox just won't work. Can not understand why ZoneAlarm allows other pgms accesses but FireFox.

I have to have this ZoneAlarm running and FireFox has been running soooo well with ZoneAlarm however I will change back to use IE again.

Very very frustrating with FireFox right now.

Wont fix has a special meaning resolving as incomplete. Possibly the Zone Alarm forums would be helpful http://forums.zonealarm.org/zonelabs/

Kevin, the ZoneAlarm forum helped...it's ZL's DB corrupted. Had to deleted the DB files then it's working now. Thanks :). zqi
