gtk+-1.2.x's gdk can't return the visual of a GdkPixmap, but gtk2's can. Since all mozilla gtk visuals are teh type for gdk_rgb, we can just use that for both versions. Building with gtk+-1.2.x also needs fontconfig added to the link for cairo - this comes free with a gtk2 build because gtk2 libs already includes it.

1.8 is dead and this code no longer exists in the trunk or even in 1.9.0
