User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 After just installing Firefox (earlier download from another computer) is was very suprised that the installtion page (http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0.0.3/whatsnew/) still claims to be the lastest version. Because I already updated several other computers, I knew that wasn't correct, but someone else can be tricked. Maybe it's wise to create a special 'update' page which tells the user that a newer version is available and that all older version (sym)links to that update page (2.0.0.4, 2.0.0.5 and 2.0.0.6 to start with). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just install any previous version of firefox. 2. Concratiolations, you've updated to the lastest versiob of firefox! Actual Results: Incorrect claim of latest version Expected Results: A concrats page that tells the user their is a newer version available. A side from that this is a 'cosmetic' thing, it can lead to a vulnarable firefox client. So I kept it at 'normal'. With a normal installtion this shouldn't be a critial issue, because after some time firefox should notify the user about a newer version.
