User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070809 Camino/1.5.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070809 Camino/1.5.1 Some longer web pages fail to render beyond open window area or double the visible open window. This is a small percentage of pages an is only apparent with longer pages. The provided site always has long pages. Reloading will often get another paragraph or two but seldom will you get the whole page. This website has this problem always ( http://www.roughlydrafted.com/RD/TechQ307/Entries/2007/9/22_Forbes_Prints_Insanely_Self_Serving_Attack_on_iTunes_by_MediaNet_CEO_Alan_McGlade.html). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to http://www.roughlydrafted.com/RD/TechQ307/Entries/2007/9/22_Forbes_Prints_Insanely_Self_Serving_Attack_on_iTunes_by_MediaNet_CEO_Alan_McGlade.html 2.Scroll down 3. Actual Results: all page info is gone below a varying point. Expected Results: Should render the full page I can do this on Camino 1.5 and subsequent builds.I can do this on three Macs with OSX 10.4.9 and 10.4.10. This has been happening for a few months and a few builds. It does not happen with Firefox or Safari. I have CamiTools 4.5 on some builds and not on others. There is no other browser related software involved. I have searched the forum for something similar to no result. I am not expert but will try to answer and provide any info you need.
WFM both with a branch nightly and my default profile and 1.5.1 with a fresh profile. Does the problem persist when running with a fresh profile (you can use http://pimpmycamino.com/parts/troubleshoot-camino for this)?

Smokey Ardisson ask me to use Troubleshoot Camino to see if the problem persisted with a new user profile. The problem goes away with a new user profile.
Er, sorry, we never got back to you here, Roger. Based on your comment 2, something is messed up in your existing profile. Most likely this is caused by a bad preference setting in your current profile, but the only way to tell is by a process of elimination. If you just want to "be done with it" and don't mind losing any cookies, cookie permissions, or resetting all your preferences, you can quit Camino, move your ~/Application Support/Camino folder somewhere else, and launch Camino again to create a new clean profile folder. Then quit Camino and copy your bookmarks.plist from your OLD profile to the NEW one (you can probably also safely copy history.dat, your history, to the NEW profile). Launch Camino and you can reset your preferences. After you're sure you've salvaged everything you want from your OLD profile folder, you can throw it in the Trash. If you want to spend some time tracking down the actual cause, you can also copy over cookies.txt, hostperm.1, user.js (if it exists), and prefs.js (one at a time, restarting in between). Each of those files have multiple lines in them, so once you find which one is causing the problem, you can further narrow down by removing lines and testing again. I'm going to go ahead and close this bug, but if you do want to go through all the narrowing-down, please do report back with whatever turns out to be the cause.
