I enable the option 'Block Pop-Up Windows' in Tools->Options
After i restart FireFox the tick-mark in the 'Block Pop-Up Windows' option disappears and PopUps are not blocked
I noticed this bug when visiting www.rediff.com

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open FireFox, go to Options and Enable the box 'Block Pop-Up Windows.
2.Browse to a website say www.rediff.com, everything is fine,popups are blocked
3.Restart FireFox.
4.Go to the same website www.rediff.com
5.The tick-mark in Block Pop-Up Windows disappears and popups keep coming on the website www.rediff.com



I have the following plugins :
1.ProxySwitcher
2.YouTube VideoDownloader

I have the following Toolbars :
1.ProxySwitcher Toolbar
2.ImageShack Toolbar

This bug was originally reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.8 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
