Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8) Gecko/2007091216 GranParadiso/3.0a8

When running Firefox (and Gran Paradiso) on Windows XP, sometimes when opening a new tab, the location bar will have a cursor, but will not accept input. Pressing CTRL-L usually solves the problem, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new tab
2. Type a web address
3. Look at the location bar
Actual Results:
The location bar is empty.

Expected Results:
The location bar contains the web address I typed

This problem seems to be Windows-specific. I never ran into this problem on Linux, even though I use Firefox more often in Linux than in Windows.
FYI: This bug still appears in Gran Paradiso Alpha 8.
No, I didn't try running in safe mode, but I'll surely do that if it could help.
I have been running Gran Paradiso in safe mode since yesterday, and the problem occurred again less than five minutes ago.

Yesterday I saw that the caret was missing in the filter of about:config, also when I clicked in the input field. It was a new profile and I could not repeat it.
this (ctrl+t + locationbar resp. about:config) is WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007112205 Minefield/3.0b2pre ID:2007112205
