I am experiencing a crash dialog when attempting to restart after getting the automatic software update notification. Crash report shows:

0  	QD@0x9a8c
1 	nsChildView::StartDrawPlugin()
2  	nsPluginInstanceOwner::Notify(nsITimer*)
3  	nsTimerImpl::Fire()
4  	nsTimerEvent::Run()

See URL for more stack trace.

my about:config settings:

app.update.enabled = true
app.update.channel = nightly

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install latest minefield
2. enable auto-update. When update dialog pops up, click now
3. verify crash dialog and stack.
Actual Results:
Crash upon auto-update dialog

Expected Results:
no crash

to view that page, I think I need to be logged in as you.

"You are not allowed to view this page because you are not in this league. (Error #152)"

from the crash report, it looks like flash is involved.

> 2. enable auto-update. When update dialog pops up, click now

can see what happens if you attempt to install a new add-on, and then restart?

I haven't heard of any crashes on auto-update using powerPC via the huge number of updates we've done over the past 4 months. Also, your crash report isn't available on crash-stats anymore. I'm going to set this bug to closeme status (to resolved:incomplete) for a month from now pending some more information about this, Tony.
