I was verifying bug 380811. This is what I did:

- double-click on a day. This opens a 'New Task' window

- click on the popup menu indicator for "Start". This opens a mini-month-view below the menu.

- click on the year in that mini-month-view. This brings up a scrollable list of years.

- click on the year in the mini-month-view again. This makes the scrollable list of years go away.

At this point, the mini-month-view is not responsive. Clicking on an arrow to switch months has no effect. Clicking on a date has no effect. Double-clicking on a date has no effect. One has to close the mini-month-view before you can set the Start date.

In addition, try leaving the mini-month-view open. Switch to Firefox (as when you are filling out a bug report). The calendar is behind the browser, but the little view for just the mini-month-view floats in front of the Firefox window. Very odd.
