So, you should probably just morph this bug into either an AMO bug OR a MDC bug and then file another bug for the one you didn't select. AMO and MDC are run by two completely different teams, so one bug isn't very helpful.

For AMO, the bug should be under the "addons.mozilla.org" product in the "Public Pages" component.
For MDC, the bug should be under the "Mozilla Developer Center" product in the "Administration" or "Infrastructure" component (not sure, just pick one).

Who is "we?"  Given that I run MDC I'm a little surprised that this ticket requesting the site be renamed is the first I've heard of it. :)

Is there a particular reason you're requesting this change?

We're looking at ways we can optimize our organic search rankings.  We've done some optimization on mozilla.com, and it would be great to do some of the same for MDC/AMO for consistency.  The title tags that Alix mentions above carries some decent weight in the search engine optimization world, and it's a pretty easy change I believe.

Sounds good to me... just would like to have been in on the discussion before a decision was made, since it's directly within my area of concern.  This happens a lot, people making changes to MDC stuff without me even being aware it was something being considered.

Gotcha,tanks -- definitely open to alternative suggestions if you have them. Main reasons we went with the structure above is consistency with Moz.com, but definitely not set on it if there is a better option.

Since sheppy picked up on this first, I'm going to morph this into an MDC bug. In order to take care of the addons.mozilla.org changes, you should file a bug under the "addons.mozilla.org" product in the "Public Pages" component.
