User-Agent: Opera/9.23 (Windows NT 5.1; U; sv) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.6 (20070728) Thunderbird has to be restarted to be able to move an email message from the Sent folder to a Sent sub-folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send an email. 2. Try to move, either with mouse drag-'n-drop or context menu commands, the email from the Sent folder to a Sent sub-folder. 3. Actual Results: I got an email stuck in the Sent folder. Expected Results: The email should have been moved to the Sent sub-folder.
IMAP or POP? Both work fine for me on linux/trunk. Anything in Tools > Error Console?
Version: unspecified → 2.0
POP. The following in Tools -> Error Console: Fel: [Exception... "'JavaScript component does not have a method named: "NotifyComposeBodyReady"' when calling method: [nsIMsgComposeStateListener::NotifyComposeBodyReady]" nsresult: "0x80570030 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JSOBJECT_HAS_NO_FUNCTION_NAMED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/messengercompose/MsgComposeCommands.js :: InitEditor :: line 3586" data: no] Källkodsfil: chrome://messenger/content/messengercompose/MsgComposeCommands.js Rad: 3586 Fel: gAccountManager has no properties Källkodsfil: chrome://messenger/content/messengercompose/MsgComposeCommands.js Rad: 2384
Could it be some add-on interfering? If not, can you reproduce with a fresh thunderbird profile? Bugzilla doesn't find any other bug reports with "NotifyComposeBodyReady" in the comments.
I have Enigmail 0.93.5 (20070802) which came with the latest upgrade of Thunderbird.
Try disabling it (and restarting thunderbird) to see if it makes a difference.
No difference. Moving emails between folders in Thunderbird has been a hairy business with earlier versions too. An earlier bug I reported, where I couldn't move an email more than a couple of times, is now gone (hopefully resolved) but this new one apparently came in its place.
Magnus Johansson's address is "user unknown" so => incomplete
