User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 It would be nice if a user could select a portion of the page when bookmarking. Case 1 : (easier) Save selected text in bookmarks 'description' field. (similar to bug:256794) would be nice with 265048. Case 2 : (more complex) Save selected text and "position" in a specific field. Later, when the user recalls that bookmark, that content could be highlighted. (see also a Bug 398857 i have just opened) detailed information at the URL above. Reproducible: Always
