Per our discussions at our last 2 Bugzilla meetings, this param should go away. It should be replaced by a system group.
If the parameter is gone, how can I ensure that time tracking information is visible for internal users only?

You only add your internal users to the system group.

I would like to be able to configure Bugzilla so that certain users can only see the time tracking info, but not edit it?

By changing the 'timetrackinggroup' parameter to a group, could i do that?

And is there a workaround i can use to do this in the meantime?
