User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 Build Identifier: http://joey.labs.mozilla.com/app/webroot/ff/HTC-Hermes-en_US-joey.jar After entering login information and checking off "Use SSL for data encryption" the vm warns the midlet is untrusted and asks whether to allow internet access and then the message "A Midlet thread threw and uncaught exception" pops up. After that the client hangs. Problem occurs when using both the Hermes and Tornado Versions of the client. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch midlet 2.Enter login information 3.Check the ssl box 4.Click "login" Actual Results: uncaught exception Expected Results: log in

It works when not using SSL/https to connect to the server? I will add some safety code to make this more robust with HTTPS connections.
