Sooner or later fire fox just wont open up. I click on the Icon and the activity wheel moves but nothing happens. I have fir fox set as default browser and my other two (explore and Opera) set to notify me that they are not default. When fire fox quits the other two still work. I have to restart my PC to get it to work again This happens on my new laptop running Vista. My desktop running XP SP2. and it happened on my previous laptop running XP Three separate machines, three separate sets of software 3 separate downloads Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Just wait sooner or later it just stops 2. 3. Actual Results: stopped just a minute ago for no reason Expected Results: Run It's annoying as hell because I hate explorer or anything microsoft but I don't always have time to reload.
Could be your firewall. As a test, try installing Firefox in a new folder elsewhere (e.g. on your desktop). If it still happens try running Firefox with a new profile and test it without any add-ons. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
