User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 The first problem seems occurs when I start up Firefox. I click the icon on my desktop, Firefox starts up, it brings me to the homepage, a couple of seconds go by and it just shuts down. This problem only seems to occur when I start up Firefox. My second is problem is going to two websites I like to go on. They are www.musicrivals.com and www.tektek.org . I find that both of these sites are not working well on Firefox, and when they don't work well, Firefox freezes up. Then of course, seeing as how it's doing absolutely nothing, I shut it down. When I try to start it up again, it says it's already running and I need to shut the existing one down, even though, I already shut it down when I x out of it. I then have to log of my account, and log back in. I thank you for you for your time and hope that you can solve this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start up Firefox 2. Wait on the homepage for a few seconds 3. Firefox shuts down Actual Results: Exactly as step 3 says. Expected Results: Waited on the homepage till I want to either use the homepage for something, or let me go to another page at my own will.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7 Both sites work for me. Have you tried: - Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems - a new profile - a reinstall in a new empty folder? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox) http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
