Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070730 SUSE/2.0.0.6-25 Firefox/2.0.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070730 SUSE/2.0.0.6-25 Firefox/2.0.0.6

I try to start Firefox in my KDE environment. I see the sand glass in the KDE control bar for a couple of seconds until the corresponding icon vanishes.
A start try from the command line immediately shows a memory access violation.

I can still continue to work by the option "-safe-mode".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
elfring@Sonne:~> firefox
/usr/bin/firefox: line 208: 13364 Speicherzugriffsfehler $MOZ_PROGRAM "$@"

Expected Results:
No program abort
Usual execution of the application
Firefox 2.0.0.8 returns to normal operation. :-)
