scrollbar

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007101304 Minefield/3.0a9pre

steps:
1. bookmarks>organize bookmarks...
2. press alt-print screen
3. open mspaint
4. paste
5. click "more" in Places Organizer
6. compare the before picture in mspaint (to be attached) with the current state (to be attached)

expected results:
if the bottom area grows, it shouldn't require scrollbars

actual results:
it grew and still needed a scrollbar for a few pixels.

oddly: clicking the tag arrow button results in an even bigger window and no scrollbar requirement.

my scrollbar width is 9 in start>setings>control panel>display>appearance>advanced>item:scrollbar. (and this is classic theme...)

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
