And after clicking on OK things go fine. (this is only if firefox is not already running). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. firefox is default browser + google toolbar extension is installed. 2. firefox is not running. 3. try to open any URL shortcut or a web page from local hard disk. 4. error message appears with only OK button. 5. click OK. 6. everything is fine. Actual Results: result comes on step #4 is annoying. makes anyone want to change firefox from being default web browser. Expected Results: open the URL or the web page from the local disk without showing a fake error. I figured out that google toolbar is resulting the error after removing all of my installed extensions one-by-one. However, there is a small change for google toolbar to not be the cause of the error. It could be extensions conflict with each others.
Please report this to the google toolbar team, this sounds like a bug with that extension and not firefox.
