User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 (Debian-2.0.0.6-1) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 (Debian-2.0.0.6-1) Open two tabs, one with normal ASCII letters and other tab e.g. with Arabic title: http://groups.google.com/group/sci.math/browse_thread/thread/795606f6c2c79701/7bda09803cf25a9d Then when switching from a normal tab to Arabic tab the title of the Firefox window remains the same (not changes to the title of Arabic page). Note that the windows manager is run on my machine not in Unicode environment. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a normal ASCII and Arabic tabs. 2. Switch to the ASCII tab. 3. Switch to the Arabic tab. Actual Results: Windows title remains the same. Expected Results: Window title should change to match the Arabic tab title. Possibly title should be filled with squares for unsupported symbols, but surely not remain unchanged. If the title cannot be indicated in the titlebar then indicate that it cannot be indicated (e.g. filling the titlebar with squares).
Works for me, please advise if fault still exists with recent Firefox versions. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100125 Minefield/3.7a1pre
