User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; cs; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; cs; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7

Goproblems has java applet where u can solve the problem, when u click next (link), the firefox goes to next page, with another java applet, but when I check the memory usage, firefox uses additional several Mb of memory and cpu usage on every page, unless I close all firefox windows and start firefox.

This is very uncomfortable as one has to restart fierfox every 5 minutes.

Seems like these java applets doesn't only stay in memory, but are even using the cpu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to goproblems com, click on any problem from the first page, and keep clicking next (You can click navigate solutio on the page before clicking next to make the step take even more memory and cpu)

Actual Results:
Firefox took at least 4Mb more mb on every page, and when I click navigate solution and went to another page, it was so slow, that I had to close the window.

Expected Results:
It should be quick and don't make memory leaks :)

This bug happened on every computer I tried it (Windows Xp everywhere), and it happened on java versions 1.4 and 1.5, Firefox versions 1.x(few latest versions) and 2.x (all versions I used up to the latest version)

Not sure why this was resolved invalid (without a comment). But it really seems to be a dupe of bug 156994 (that in turn was marked invalid because the problem was fixed in the plugin).
Resolution: WONTFIX → DUPLICATE
