There exists a module, Taxonomy Ticker, that I think will help us with a project we're trying to add to SFX2.

We've got an rss feed, http://meltwaternews.com/magenta/xml/html/37/0/rss/52413.rss2.XML that we want to scroll vertically in a block or other view for one or more organic groups. I think we can accomplish this with Taxonomy Ticker and possibly the drupal core feed handling, though we may need to add the Leech module too (see http://groups.drupal.org/node/4547 for feed handling modules)

So far i have installed both modules and used the leech module to pull in the feed.

Just letting you know Asa that you can associate your ticker block to a specific group now that we have our og_block_visibility module installed .

Paul, the ticker doesn't seem to be updating at all. Can you look into this?
