if download manager is open and you're searching/filtering on "foo", downloading a new item that matches "foo" causes flickering (and new item is not shown)

try this:

1) save a bugzilla patch as "foo.txt"
2) save it again as "foo2.txt"
3) open the download manager, filter on "foo"
4) keep it open, save it again as "foo3.txt"

the download manager will flicker, but foo3.txt will not be in the list.

this might be wontfix / invalid, if search is going away (bug #399783)
