Firefox 2.0.0.8 (German version) contains in menus the German letter "ß" which is not common in several countries. It shall be replaced by "ss". "ß" was never used in Switzerland and Liechtenstein at all.

You are free to create a Switzerland specific languagepack and call it de-CH, but we'll continue to use de with writing specific to Germany's spelling.
