400611 - Download Manager corrupted

After having Firefox 2.0.0.8 installed for two days, my download manager is corrupted.

The list of downloads no longer displays. And I can't see stats for active downloads. The download manager window is just empty, blank, and just white.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download anything

Actual Results:  
1. See no activity in the download manager window
2. Downloads still work but stop after closing the firefox window.

Expected Results:  
Active downloads should display in download manager.

Clearing the cache should have fixed the problem but it didn't.

Reinstalling firefox should have fixed the problem but it didn't.

Uninstalling firefox should clear all user profile information.

Wish or expectation? The latter = not true.

Thanks that resolved my issue.

Is it possible when uninstalling firefox to give an option to clear files related to this one?

An end-user isn't going to easily do this...

Verified; and, to answer your question, yes, Firefox 3 will have the option to uninstall profile data; see bug 398434.
