User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 I downloaded the Facebook application (at the above URL) thinking it would just be something to add to my Facebook page but it was actually a search toolbar. After I downloaded it, yahoo became my default search from the location bar and just typing in specific words wouldn't work to go to the direct page (ie. usually typing "seattle aquarium" would bring me to the SA website now it doesn't). I uninstalled the program but the search still isn't fixed. How do I fix it? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a Facebook 2. Download the Pink Ribbon Toolbar application 3. Install it on Firefox Actual Results: My default search is now yahoo instead of google and the quick search function doesn't work. Expected Results: It should have only affected my searches when I used the toolbar.

I'm tempted to do the drastic and uninstall and reinstall just o be rid of the horrid thing.
I am having a similar problem with Yahoo defaulting as my search engine. Yahoo is not at the top of my list on the manager (google is). When I select google, firefox automatically switches it back to yahoo. I have deleted Yahoo and it reappears in my list. I have not downloaded anything that I know of (but it is possible). I just built my machine the beginning of Dec. so...
