"while installing Mozilla 2,8, I get error measage saying 'error writing to xpcom_core.dll"

Obviously meant Firefox 2.0.0.8.

Actually, I can't do this. I know the solution to another problem relating to xpcom_core.dll (if you install the ActiveX plugin, you get problems relating to this file), but nothing about an error writing to it while installing.

There are no instances of this on the mz forums.[1] A Google search returns links to this bug and some unrelated things.[2] It's likely something specific to that one particular user. I suggest marking this invalid.
