User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 Crashed when I click on a link to download a file (any file) using Save Link As in the menu. Firefox seems to be much slower after the automatic upgrade. File size is 2MB Was working well with 2.0.0.7. Memory usage seem to surge at 100 plus MB with only 1 page / tag opened. For older versions, used only 50 - 70MB Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Right click on a link 2.Left click on the Save Links as in the menu 3.Firefox hangs Actual Results: Firefox hangs with XP reporting it as Not Responding. Firefox window and buttons do not respond. Expected Results: Normal operations as before
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 I tried Save Link As without any problem. Could you retest after deleting the file downloads.rdf in your profile? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Downloads.rdf If there are still problems you could try safe-mode, a new profile or a reinstallation in a new empty folder. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox) http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
