Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Goto View > Layout.
2. Choose any other layout .
3.
Actual Results:  
Thunderbird immediately crashes .

Expected Results:  
Thunderbird should accept new Layout without any crash

In console , it generates this error message
