Created attachment 286070 [details] A capture of a displayed folder with incorrect favicons Items without their own favicons (from history, I believe) in a live bookmark now receive the square rss feed icon with a down arrow triangle as the favicon next to the title of each item. See attached screenshot of an open live bookmark folder from a clean profile for an easier explanation. Previously, we have defaulted to a blank favicon for each item unless there was a cached favicon already present. This was seen on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007102204 Minefield/3.0a9pre. Steps to Reproduce 1. Create a new profile. 2. Click on the news feed default live bookmark in the folder to show folder items. Result: Folder items all have live bookmark item as the favicon.
This appears to be Mac only. with and existing profile: 1) add a new rss feed 2) restart the browser 3) then click the feed

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
