User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071022 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071022 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.8 there is nothing wrong with the web site ( http://corevette.googlepages.com/helloworld.txt ), but if you copy all of the text together as one, and paste it all under the search bar and search (this works at least under google). the address bar becomes completely garbled because a whole bunch of text overlaps. this is very unsexy. also, it would be nice to have the search bar only use 1 line, instead of it being able to have multiple lines Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: steps listed in details Actual Results: slow/ugly address bar Expected Results: clean address bar
i tried it with the google toolbar and it works flawlessly; it breaks the address bar if you use the default firefox search
fixed in firefox 3
