When composing a new email, the text I type in the very last line in the composition editor gets hidden by the component/status bar. It seems that the the size of the content window is not correctly calculated, only after resizing it, the scrollbar or last line appears in the window.

This has been the case on trunk for a few weeks (two or three?), but I haven't found a bug report yet. Happens on both Linux and OS/2.

I attach two screenshots: (1) the left image is editing with 72 chars per line and does not have a scrollbar. The last line is partially hidden. (2) Right: editing with 150 chars per line, this produces a horizontal scrollbar that is partially hidden.

I can confirm this. It's been happening for a couple of weeks for me on WinXP.

Hmm, not sure what changed but with the latest SeaMonkey nightly on Linux
