User-Agent: Opera/9.24 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Build Identifier: In the sidebar, in the upper-right corner, there is a "Tabs" button that toggles a drop-down menu. Text is white and background is dark grey. If you hover your mouse over it, the background turns light beige, and the text is still white (should be black). As a result the text is almost unreadable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Seamonkey, and hit F8 to display the sidebar 2. Locate the "Tabs" button in the upper-right corner of the sidebar 3. Hover your mouse over it Actual Results: White text on light-beige background is almost unreadable Expected Results: Text should be black in hovered state.

I can't reproduce this with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008032704 Mnenhy/0.7.5.20005 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre When hover the Tabs-Button in the Sidebar, it gets an "Shadow", but won't change its colour. Tested with the "Classic" Theme. Can you reproduce this with the current Trunk-Builds? Did you see this with the "Classic" or "Modern" Theme?
Hello, I'm using the nightly build (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008032701 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre) and I still have the bug. Please take a look at the attachment. As you see it happens with the default classic theme. When you hover your cursor over the "Tabs" button, the text and the background are the same color, which make the button text unreadable.

Using the Windows XP default design I can confirm this issue. Normally I use a lightly modified Windows Classic design (replaced Tahoma Fonts with Microsoft Sans Serif), while hover the Tabs-Button in Sidebar there I only get a light Shadow at the upper and left Side from the Button, see Screenshot.

Confirm the wrong rendering of the "Tabs" Button in Sidebar while mousehover for SeaMonkey-Trunk with default (New Classic) Theme when using WinXP default design. Modern Theme was not affected, even rendering in SM Default Theme when use an Windows Classic Design. (Well, after a closer look I see that the black Shadows at right and downsite the Button are missing with Win Classic design, so rendering of this Button was not really correct.) But I think the Bug would better match "Core" as Product, and "Theme" as Component, cause only the SM-Default Theme has this issue.
