Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Can't get it back 2. 3. Actual Results: Erased input into calendar after updating Expected Results: saa left the inforamtion alone with out erasing any information

I guess you are talking about bug 401223. If not please provide more details
It sounds like it could be a similar thing, if it happened when you update.

Somehow after all this, when I started to add new items everything came back.
Resolution: DUPLICATE → FIXED
Please don't change a resolution of the verified bug unless you want to reopen it. Adding an event to disabled calendar enables it that is why you can see old events
