The last active tab does not get the focus back after switching applications (using Alt-Tab or clicking the Taskbar icon) and switching back to Firefox. The tab is highlighted, but using the mouse scroller or shortcut keys like Ctrl-T for a new Tab does not work until after I click in the contents of the tab. It never used to be like this, this is a recent problem, possibly from around 2.0.0.6/7.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have a few tabs open
2.Switch task to another application and back to FireFox
3.The selected tab no longer has the focus, you first have to click inside it
Actual Results:
Cannot use the mouse scroller, cannot use shortcuts like Ctrl-T
Expected Results:
The focus should've gone back to the selected tab
I did not install any new plugins, it just started happening one day.
It turns out this happens only when you have a tab containing a PDF document open. After I closed the tab containing the PDF document, it all works as expected.
Summary: Last active tab does not get focus back → Last active tab does not get focus back when PDF doc opened in a tab
I'm marking this as duplicate of 315513, they seem very much related
