Details

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.3 (Ubuntu-feisty)
Build Identifier: 0.3

I have installed a Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 (20070728), Lightning 0.7 and Provider For Google Calendar 0.3 and configured my account on Google Calendar.
After configuring my google calendar account every time that I restart Thunderbird or press the Reload button in Lightning, the following message is printed in the console:

Erro: [Exception... "'Component does not have requested interface' when calling method: [nsIInterfaceRequestor::getInterface]" nsresult: "0x80004002 (NS_NOINTERFACE)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

Ps.: I'm behind a authentication proxy, and my proxy cfg is set in thunderbird preferences window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 (20070728);
2. Configure Proxy Settings in Thunderbird's network configuration;
3. Install Lightning 0.7 and restart Thunderbird;
4. Install Provider For Google Calendar 0.3 and restart Thunderbird;
5. Configure a Google Calendar (using private XML address);
6. press 'Reload' calendar button;
7. Look at the console;
Actual Results:
The error:
Erro: [Exception... "'Component does not have requested interface' when calling method: [nsIInterfaceRequestor::getInterface]" nsresult: "0x80004002 (NS_NOINTERFACE)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

is printed in console, and my calendar is not loaded.

Expected Results:
The google calendar been loaded.

I'm behind a authentication proxy, and my proxy cfg is set in thunderbird preferences window.
I'm on a Linux machine, using Gnome 2.16 (Ubuntu 7.04)
I don't know if the error you are talking about is related to the proxy. This error only shows in thunderbird and has not caused any visible problems. I do admit I'll have to fix it at some point.

Regarding the proxy, duplicate of bug 391379 ?

What type of proxy do you use? Did you configure it yourself? I haven't had an authenticated proxy to test with, which is the reason nothing has happened with bug 391379.
Hi Philipp,
I've seen the bug 391379 before open this one, but I don't know if is the same problem, so I open a new one. I hope that this is the same problem, so you can kill two rabbits with one shot (it's a brazilian dictation :)).

Well, my proxy is a Squid with authentication (is where I work), I didn't configure it (the proxy server), but if needed I can talk with the TI guys and get some more information.

If you need any help to test, I'll be glad to help you.

cheers!
I'll assume this is bug 391379 for now, if it turns out to be different feel free to reopen this bug or file a new one.

It would be great if you could get me the squid configuration, then I can install it locally and start testing.

Hi,
I have the same bug but with Sunbird 0.7 and Provider
For Google Calendar 0.3.1
However, the connection was working initially (two weeks ago) but now throws up the error.
The error is only reproduced at my work place not at home.
At work we are using an ISA server as a proxy and a linux box, sorry unsure what the specs are for these but could get them if needed.
The error occurs on both proxies.
At home using zonealarm pro which is installed on my computer so no extra proxy and no problem?
