In day view or week view it is impossible to use the screen space to show all events. If you take a look at how Outlook does calendar, you can see that it uses a fixed size for the hour. The reason why this is good is that it doesn't matter how small your window is you always see the event text and when you enlarge the window you see more hours and more events.
In sunbird however you have a fixed number of hours to display in the window, so that you can never see all events no matter how large your screen is, and when you make the window smaller events that have small duration become so tiny that it is impossible to read the events, it would be better to display like it is done in Outlook or at least have a minimum size for the event so at least the title is visible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change hours showed to 24 hours in settings
2. Switch to day view
3. Create a new event and set the end time the same as start time

Actual Results:
The event is very tiny making it very hard to select and the title of the event does not display in the calendar

Expected Results:
Used a minimum size for the event so that at least the title is visible.
This is basically the same problem as described in bug 387402. Fixing that bug will also fix this bug.
