Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8
I try to browse on Mozialla Firefox and do just fine. However, everytime I open the browser I get a pop up right in the middle of my desktop usually 2 times, everytime. I clicked the bar at the top and was able to find a way to enter my e-mail address (although I don't know why they would have it) and it should have stopped it. However, I am still getting the pop-up, BUT now it is blank. I cannot stop it from happening. I have to close it myself every time. The url on the bar says - http://adserving.cpxinteractive.com I thought it might have to do with Google, but they said I should contact my System Administrator and I don't even know who that is. I guess that's you.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Mozilla Firefox browser
2.No other performance necessary
3.
Actual Results:
Open Mozilla Firefox to browse.
Pop-Up shows in middle of screen on my desktop 2 times.
URL in bar on pop-up http://adserving.cpxinteractive.com
I have to close it manually.
It happens every time I open Mozilla Firefox to browse.
It is now blank in the pop-up since I tried cancelling the service (or whatever it is)
Expected Results:
I have to close it manually and it still keeps happening every time.
I don't know where it is coming from and can't delete it.

This is almost certainly due to malicious software that somehow got onto your computer rather than due to Firefox itself.

I went to administrative tools via the direction you gave me (however you don't go to settings first for your information). But when I do get there and choose Messenger (there are two to choose from). One says it transmits net and send alerts service etc etc. THAT ONE IS DISABLED. Okay I chose the Messenger Sharing one. When I try to stop it, I get a dialog box that says:
Could not stop the Messenger Sharing Folder USN Journal Reader service service on local computer. The service did not return an error. This could be a windows internal error or an internal service error. If the problem persists contact your system administrator. (copied exactly)
Please tell me - WHO is my System Administrator?

If you're using a home computer, you are your own system administrator, and an error message that instructs you to "contact your system administrator" isn't being especially helpful. If you're using an office computer, you might have a coworker who is your system administrator. Microsoft seems to have assumed that anyone using the messenger service is in an office environment, which would be a reasonable assumption for many problems but not for an error while trying to turn the thing off.
It doesn't sound like this is a Windows Messenger Service problem: if the popup has an address bar, it's not coming through the messenger service. So you shouldn't need to disable messenger service stuff to fix this.
I suggest running some anti-spyware software to attempt to remove the malicious software on your computer that is opening these popups. (That's the part of the kb page I was trying to point you to with my link to
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Pop-ups_not_blocked#Spyware_on_Windows). You might also find http://www.google.com/search?q=adserving.cpxinteractive.com helpful.
