User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 The latest parallels desktop 3 creates a virtual drive that is easily accessible from the mac. When you drag and drop a file from the virtual machine, all you see in thunderbird is the file path. Is not recognized as an attachment. Mac Mail does recognized the drag and drop from this virtual drive as an attachment. The virtual drive is from a windows xp Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.drag and drop a file from a parallels desktop 3.0 virtual drive 2. 3. Actual Results: thunderbird just shows a file path and does not recognized that path as an attachment Expected Results: the files being drag and drop is recognized as an attachment I am running the latest parallels desktop 3 with windows xp professional. Mac Mail does recognized the drag and drop. Thunderbird does attach the file but only if I use the attachment icon. This feature is very important for all of us using windows on a virtual machine.
My version of Parallels apparently predates this feature, so I can't confirm it, but I'm not seeing a duplicate. Cleaning up the summary and marking as enhancement.
