40235 - ~/.mozilla/profile/Cache not created on linux

Title says it all here: if I have ~/.mozilla/profile/, but no Cache/
subdirectory, it never gets created and nothing is cached on disk between
sessions. Using 052208.

WORKSFORME, same OS, same build.
mine is created with profiles, and regenerated if i rm -rf it.
someone else filed a bug report of their Cache directory not being recreated
when they rm -rf'd it, but I believe that was resolved WORKSFORME as well.

Decklin: try with a new profile? (mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla-old)
perhaps something, somewhere, is making mozilla think the user doesn't want
cache?

I am now experiancing this, Linux 2000/05/27/08. Uping severity, as this
completly disables disk cache, and many users won't even know. rm -rf'ing the
cache directory is a common thing done by UNIX'ers, or at least this one... why
dig through the pref menus, and trust them to clean everything out, when an rm
-rf is gaurunteed to do it, and alot quicker.

Workaround is to mkdir ~/.mozilla/default/Cache and restart Mozilla.

This happens on windows too. If I manually delete the Cache directory, it is not 
created on reruns.

Seems to be fixed in 060620 Linux, but there's some breakage elsewhere in this
build so I can't test it fully.
