User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; uk; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007110404 Minefield/3.0a9pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; uk; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007110404 Minefield/3.0a9pre I installed the UK nightly trunk and much of the chrome appears to be in another language, possibly Russian. Menues and dialogs are affected but tabs not. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk-l10n/firefox-3.0a9pre.uk.linux-i686.tar.bz2 2. extract as ~/firefox 3. I tried deleting my profile
I believe you want en-GB (British English), rather than UK (Ukrainian). Feel free to reopen the bug if I've misunderstood.

Oh for goodness sake! Sorry for wasting your time. My only excuse is I'm so use to seeing EVERY web list of countries having United Kingdom. So when I scanned the list for the right one.... Thanks Doug. <fx>shuffles off with head hung low</fx>
Except there is no en-GB in the trunk or trunk i10n I'm reopening in case this is an oversight. Or is there no significant difference to en-US? My main reason for wanting en-GB is so that I have a correct spelling dictionary. It is not possible to install dictionaries in trunk (perhaps I need to hack the version number somewhere)

en-GB isn't up to date at the moment, hence no build. Locales are made by volunteers, and en-GB team presumably haven't had time to work on it recently. I'm sure they'll be more active as we get closer to Firefox 3. If you want to get en-GB dictionary in Gran Paradiso, then either use the Nightly Tester Tools extension to globally ignore extension compatibility information, or unzip the xpi and modify <maxversion> in the install.rdf
